Amazon Prime Day 2016
2016 saw over 2.5x more sales of Amazon products such as the Fire TV stick, Fire Tablet and Kindle than 2015.
Talking about Prime Day 2016, Amazon UK Country Manager Doug Gurr explained, “The day was our biggest day of the year so far, and by 6pm customers had already ordered more items than Prime Day last year.”
Amazon sold 90,000 TVs, 200,000 headphones and 14,000 Lenovo laptops on Prime Day 2016 according to the Daily Telegraph.
Last year, Prime Day increased year on year sales by 60%, despite a technical fault with the checkout, could it increase sales again in 2017?
