North East specialist tile retailer Discount Tiles has seen a wide range of benefits from using a warehouse management system from Optima including improved accuracy, speed and better customer service.
Optimiser WMS system has been used successfully for a number of years by up to six warehouse operatives in their main warehouse in Stockton-on-Tees and also can also be accessed by all of the staff in their three stores via the Internet.
The retail teams can therefore check real time stock levels so that customers know immediately whether their choice of tile is available, and if out-of-stock they can then inform them when the item comes back in.
