Warehouse with many products on shelves

Tis the season to be busy!

14/1/15

GAP

Hello and happy New Year to you!

While many of you will still be recovering from the busy festive period and no doubt a few office parties or nights out, here at Optima, it’s been all work, work, work.

But we’re not feeling sorry for ourselves, honest!

Over December and January we have had two companies go live with our WMS software and several others are in the final stages of going live which we will keep you updated on.

The first was a business called The Incontinence Shop, who supply a wide range of sanitary  products such as Tena, Abena, Lille Healthcare, Kylie, iD Expert and many more.

They very much embraced our Optimiser WMS along with barcode scanning and full integration with EBay, Amazon, Magento and a full courier link.

They liked the product and the fact we are focused on stock management, but also have full marketplace plugins for their three markets.

As well as this, we were also able to provide a package that came in below the budget requirements they had to work with – so everyone was happy.

The second company we provided a warehouse management system for during this busy time was GAP Waste Management and Transport Limited, who are based in Gateshead.

GAP are new to warehousing, so when they moved to their new premises they decided to utilise the new space they had acquired.

When they came to us, we were able to explain just what we could provide them with and they opted for the solution that they were delighted with by incorporating barcode scanning and Optimiser WMS for creating charges within the invoicing module.

GAP had an extremely tight timescale to turn this project around and we set out a plan to be live by the end of January. So we installed the software and hardware over Christmas and they went live in early in the New Year and needless to say they were very impressed with the professional services from the sales consultancy right through to the project management.

So all in all, we don’t think anyone would begrudge us finally letting our hair down and enjoying the festive season. Even if it’s a few weeks late!
